Textile Duct Cleaning and Repair

Cleaning of fabric ducting 

Cleaning of M1 fabric ducting (polyester 100/160/220g/m²) 

Machine wash for approximately 15 to 20 minutes at 40°C using a surfactant detergent (dosage: see the instructions for the product used)

Repeat the process until the water runs clear (1 to 4 times).

For very dirty duct liners, an ‘ultrawash’ cycle is available at an additional cost.

For controlled environments, an additional rinse with a chlorinated product followed by clean water is required.

NB: Failure to follow the correct cleaning procedures, particularly regarding washing and drying temperatures, may result in a reduction in diameter and length, as well as a loss of permeability.

Cleaning of heavy-duty PVC or M0 fabric ducts.

Coated fabric ducts generally do not require maintenance. If cleaning proves essential :

• M0 fabric : dry-clean using a product that preserves the fabric’s properties. This ensures that the fabric’s fire-resistant properties are maintained.
  The result after cleaning is not always satisfactory, particularly when the ducts are very dirty.
• PVC fabric : Internal cleaning is carried out with the duct removed, section by section, using a high-pressure jet – maximum temperature 70°C – and a cleaning agent that is gentle on PVC. (No solvents.) Rinse and drain.

A cleaning certificate can be provided on request.

Bacteriological analysis

Bacteriological analysis of your ductwork is available on request

Analysis is carried out before and after cleaning, enabling you to identify the types of bacteria present in your ductwork.

A BEFORE/AFTER certificate will be provided following this analysis and the cleaning process.

Repair of fabric slings

Repair of your slings on request 

Mending of seams and tears, replacement of carabiners, replacement of zips… if the slings are repairable, we can repair them, regardless of the brand.

If the slings are beyond repair, we will notify you and can reproduce identical replacements by taking measurements of your slings on a workbench.
