Comprehensive Filter Media Diagnosis

IIdentify and resolve issues relating to high pressure drop, dust leakage and contamination of clean air enclosures with our detailed analysis of filtrer media.

Our services include visual inspection, air permeability measurements, mass per unit area tests, mechanical strength tests and examination under a binocular magnifying glass.

We also carry out electrical conductivity tests on antistatic media and produce a detailed report with recommendations tailored to your specific needs.

Description of the analysis

1. Visual inspection

General condition of the filter media and assembly (inside/outside), condition of the filter cake

2. Measurement of the air permeability of the filter media at 196 Pa (AFNOR G 07-111)

3. Measurement of mass per unit area (ISO 9073)

  • On receipt
  • After a cleaning simulation
  • After blowing
  • Residual mass

4. Testing of mechanical properties and elongation at break (ISO 13934-1)

  • Warps Direction
  • Weft Direction

5. Observation using a binocular magnifying glass (dust penetration rate)

  • Cross-section view
  • Surface view

6. Testing of electrical conductivity on request (for antistatic media)

7. Preparation of a detailed report, including conclusions and recommendations tailored to operational issues
